APRIL MARKET UPDATE

Despite COVID-19 showing restrictions, Denver homes continued to rise in value (up 1.52% year over year, or a median of 6.10% year to date), and they sold 9 days faster than they did last April (20 DOM vs. 29DOM), to boot! 

It wasn't business as usual, though. New listings dropped 37.8% when compared to April 2019, and showings slowed to a crawl. When the stay at home order was lifted was lifted on April 27th, ShowingTime received a record 3,500 showing requests. 

So what does that mean? Denver buyers and sellers are adapting to the new norm and best of all, Denver real estate is still a good investment.
